Most people find that Direct Debit is the simplest way to pay their credit card, as the amount is automatically taken from their chosen bank account each month. But if one-off payments suit you better, head to the Vanquis app and use Pay by bank - it's fast, easy and secure.
Remember, if you can afford to pay more than the minimum monthly payment amount, your balance will go down quicker and you'll pay less interest. Check out our minimum payments guide for the need-to-know info on making the minimum payment on your credit card.
Direct Debit - ideal for automatic payments
With a Direct Debit, you pay your credit card automatically from your bank account each month. This can be the full balance, the minimum payment, a fixed amount or a percentage of the statement balance - it's up to you. If you choose a fixed amount, the Direct Debit amount will automatically adjust if it isn't enough to cover at least the minimum payment.
The easiest way to set up a Direct Debit is in the Vanquis app. Download the app here if you haven't already. You can also arrange a Direct Debit through online banking or by giving us a call on 0330 099 3000**.
